BUILD THE BODY. BUILD THE DISCIPLINE.
Every morning at 05:00 AM on our open training ground beside ANK Degree College, Gorantla, cadets undergo systematic conditioning designed to secure maximum marks in Indian Army, AP Police, and Paramilitary physical tests.
REAL GROUND RIGOR FOR REAL RECRUITMENT TESTS
Defence recruitment boards do not conduct physical fitness tests on cushioned indoor gym tracks. Physical rallies for the Indian Army, AP State Police, BSF, CISF, CRPF, and RPF take place on raw outdoor grounds under intense morning heat, dust, and competitive crowd pressure.
At Madani Defence Academy, we train cadets in the exact environment they will encounter during recruitment. Our 400-meter marked perimeter ground beside ANK Degree College provides the authentic ground resistance required to condition tendons, strengthen the shin muscles, and build the psychological grit to pass the 1600-meter cut-off.
Morning drills run from 05:00 AM to 07:45 AM, followed by high-protein mess breakfast and academic lecture hours.
THE 05:00 AM GROUND JOURNEY
A disciplined step-by-step breakdown of how cadets spend their morning session on the training ground.
Assembly & Ground Muster
Cadets report to the open ground in regimental training kit. Attendance roll-call, morning hydration check, and ground inspection.
Dynamic Warm-Up & Joint Activation
Gradual heart-rate elevation, 2 light jog laps, ankle rotations, dynamic hip opening, leg swings, and breathing alignment.
Primary Running Session (Track / Road)
Batch-divided track running. Group A (1600m pacing & speedwork), Group B (5km continuous endurance), Group C (stride mechanics & beginners).
Strength, Beams & Core Conditioning
Rotational sets on the pull-up beams (target 10 dead-hang pull-ups), diamond push-ups, explosive body squats, and abdominal planks.
Agility, Long Jump & Obstacle Practice
Long jump approach sprint, board takeoff technique, landing mechanics in the sand pit, 9-ft ditch leap, and zig-zag beam balance.
Regimental Squad Drill & Cadence
Savdhan, Vishram, quick march cadence, squad turns, posture correction, and group motivational briefing by instructors.
Static Stretching & Cool-Down Recovery
Full body static stretches, deep diaphragmatic breathing, hydration, muscle tension release, followed by departure for morning mess.
Training schedules may vary depending on batch, recruitment target and fitness level. Batches with imminent recruitment rally dates undergo target-specific pacing drills and mock tests, while beginner batches focus initially on joint conditioning and aerobic base construction.
THE 8 CORE TRAINING MODULES
Every module addresses a critical requirement of official defence and police physical efficiency examinations.
Running Training
Cardiovascular Speed & CadenceSystematic track conditioning calibrated specifically for the 1600m recruitment standard and 5km road endurance.
Stamina Development
Aerobic Base & Work CapacityBuilding high aerobic threshold and lung capacity through continuous tempo runs, hill resistance, and non-stop aerobic circuits.
Endurance Conditioning
Mental Grit & High-Volume ToleranceHigh-repetition functional fatigue resistance training preparing cadets for the scorching physical conditions of rally grounds.
Strength & Bodyweight Power
Relative Strength & Beam MasteryTargeted upper body, back, and core conditioning focused on the Indian Army and Police physical marking criteria.
Agility & Obstacle Navigation
Reflexes, Balance & DecelerationExplosive directional changes, lateral stability, and confident clearance of standard recruitment obstacles.
Mobility & Injury Prevention
Joint Longevity & BiomechanicsScientifically guided joint mobility and fascial release to ensure cadets remain injury-free throughout rigorous training cycles.
Drill & Regimental Discipline
Order, Bearing & Collective UnityTraditional Indian Armed Forces squad drill instilling instant command obedience, sharp bearing, and regimental pride.
Fitness Testing & Mock PET
Diagnostic Verification & BenchmarkingWeekly stopwatch-timed simulations recreating the exact psychological and physical tension of recruitment rally grounds.

SPORTS COACHING: BEYOND MONOTONOUS RUNNING
Repetitive track laps alone do not build complete combat-ready soldiers or police officers. At Madani Defence Academy, we incorporate competitive team sports—including Volleyball, Handball, Basketball, Cricket, and Boxing conditioning—to develop dynamic lateral agility, vertical power, split-second reflexes, and unwavering team cohesion.
